Community Children Art School

Basic Information

CCAS was established in the year 2007. It is located at Chakupat, Lalitpur. Since its establishment, this school has been providing creative art education to Nepali community children.

The goal of CCAS is to motivate community children through creativity, to give them an artistic platform and art education. CCAS has also been developing art projects for community children in the village. It helps them to communicate and to interact with the community. CCAS has run  several community art projects in different villages such as Bungamati (2009), Thimi (1999), Kirtipur (2015) Nagoun (2016). These projects benefit the society : they make the public understand how art functions. Our school's aim is to reveal the importance of art for human consciousness. The children and their parents are very much encouraged by the art projects. Our school is profoundly motivated to initiate different community art projects in Nepal.

Every Saturday, CCAS organizes art classes for the children from 5 to 15 years and also organize special classes for adults as well as Summer, Winter and Spring Art camps for school children.
